They both gave presentations to over 70 women/girls on breast cancer and compression CPR

Dr. Katherine teaches compression CPR to all the students in my PE classes, as well as learning how to use a defibrillator and hands on CPR.

Implemented the first YES! (Youth Empowerment Seminar) program in Chicago. The YES! Program focuses on using yoga and the power of the breath in teaching students ways of handling stress. Our PE class was the first school to implement and document and to this day, one of their most successful school programs.
